As I am sure will be the case, I don’t remember writing a lot of these posts until I re-read them. They wer composed in the dark, on a phone at 4:00 a.m. many months ago. I alluded to finding some blog posts from 10 plus years ago and the messages were the same and that was refreshing. Our #11 post is no different.

This was around when lent started and I was bent out of shape by the hypocrisy of the modern lenten sacrifice of “soft drinks” or something. I don’t give up anything because that’s not my deal, but I also think the word sacrifice is thrown around like people are starving themselves for 40 days and not just doing without something they likely

shouldn’t partake in anyway. Damn, just like that, I get bent about it again.
