Fall is in the air, which means it could be 80 or 35 depending on the day. Sweaters and Uggs are out and  people are finding out the hard way how overdressed they are for runs. Finally, robots are calling and texting me and asking me for my vote, so it must also be politics season. 

Good news, I just used the word politics to get your attention. I’m not really going to talk about them as that would be insufferable. This last go round of ads has shown us that the political marketing experts of our time believe we are idiots. I’m not letting them ruin the only decent weather I’ll see for a bit. 

This morning I was going through these posts trying to remember something about one of them.  I’d pause when I didn’t recognize one at all and try and read it. I’m going back and reading 2-3 a day starting tomorrow and maybe start cataloging a little better. This is a threat that has gained no traction before so don’t get too worried. 

There are some good ones and I’m going to reshare and edit as I go through. Part re-hash. Part celebration. 

I have come to some sort of “terms” with this thing. I’m likely not ever going to be the next blogging sensation who gets paid fat stacks to espouse his particular brand of advice/snark. Never say never but, never. Yesterday though, three people sent me a message out of the blue regarding yesterday’s post along with many public responses. That’s what it’s about.

Not all of these will spark that response but when it does for you. Reach out. That means a ton. Or if you read something that you think a friend needs, rag them or pass it on.  I’m a big fan of a public call out. 

I used to have a generic “I write things about things.” at the top of this page but I edited it. I truly do hope that by sharing, someone gets a benefit.

For a little spark today I wanted to remind you that Thanksgiving is like 3 weeks away. That’s the line of demarcation between the you you see in the mirror and a potential 5-10 lb heavier version of that you. What can you do in the next three weeks to set yourself up for success during the holidays and going into next year?  

Pick something. 

Commit to it. 

Repeat it.
