Some people lack a filter and will say whatever they are thinking. I do this a little but that’s not how my randomness manifests. I seem to be unable to not just send random messages to people. Most times it’s well received. Actually I can’t think of a time when it isn’t.

If I think about you and wonder what you’re doing these days. I’m going to ask. Even if we haven’t spoken in years. It’s like i can’t help it.

I think this may be one of my greatest strengths. The ability (willingness) to just reach out to people.  Yes. It may sound elementary but we all waste a lot of time not interacting with others because we are afraid of looking or sounding dumb. This is silly.  Life’s too short to worry about this.

The need to look calm and controlled and serious is a giant waste of energy. Walking around trying to impress or not be embarrassed is a losers game and isn’t getting you anywhere.

People want to interact and people want to do things for others. But most of the time they aren’t going to imitate. I remember when i was selling running shoes and would at the end of my presentation, finish by “asking for the order.”  It worked almost every time. People aren’t as cold and hardened as they show. And as I be said before. We all want to be told what to do to and extent.

So if you’re walking GM down the street and think of that person from high school you haven’t talked to in 20 years, send them a message. Say “Hey, I was just thinking about you. I hope you’re well.”  I 100% guarantee you’ll Botha bs happy.

The title of this post is a line from the movie Singles. it’s not related but I thought about it while writing this and couldn’t help myself
