Gone Fishing...well tomorrow.

Only a matter of time before the well runs dry. I mean not really, I can talk about my clothes some more, because cleary, that was captivating. Not to worry, reality is it’s been a pretty solid run and who knows, maybe in the morning, I’ll wake up fully inspired and be back in the saddle again. My initial thought is to re-post my favorites every day this week. Kind of a six month recap. No promises yet.

My biggest writing win last week was on Tuesday when I was just playing the guitar and had a full song come to me. The lyrics are below.

#hugsandhi5s

I’m stepping up to the window

I’m smiling looking outside

I see your face in my mirrors

I feel the look in your eyes

Crashed the party on Tuesday

Who parties only at night?

I see you looking inside me

I see me lying outside

To the back to the past to a wish I had

To the front goes my smiles and your lies

From a man to a boy in reverse I see

You’re small, insignificant, life

The culture vultures are circling

The press no longer can write

We lie together in silence

We fly together in style

One batchelor walks with the souless,

She lies, she’s pleading her case

The hearts of the smiling boys vital

The Idol eyes without face

To the back to the past to a wish I had

To the front goes my smiles and your lies

From a man to a boy in reverse I see

You’re small, insignificant, life

FED UP

What’s in a look?
